The current server is built around a platform dating to around 2010. The planned replacement moves to a much newer enterprise platform with DDR4 ECC memory, substantially newer CPU architecture, NVMe storage and 108 TB of raw SAS drive capacity.

Donations are optional and appreciated. Contributions will go toward the approximately $3,000 hardware upgrade.
